At Southwestern Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Maintenance Assistant to join our team in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on our mechanical, electric, and plumbing systems. Responsibilities:

Work closely with our maintenance director to perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on various systems, including mechanical, electric, and plumbing

Maintain good working rapport and cooperation with our clinical teams to ensure seamless daily operations

Perform duties with components of utility systems, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems

May be required to be on call every other weekend

Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff
About You:

Trade or vocational school graduate preferred

Current and valid driver's license

Minimum of 2 years of experience in various maintenance trade, preferred

Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 4 ft.

Previous environmental or maintenance service in healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
