Pay: $23.00 to $26.00 + per hour, based on experience

Above the Rest Staffing, Inc. is recruiting an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a beautiful, upscale apartment community in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep this exceptional community looking and operating at its best.

Respond to resident maintenance requests with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical components, appliances, and general building systems.
Complete apartment make ready repairs and preparations for incoming residents.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep equipment and building systems running smoothly.
Help maintain the property's attractive common areas, amenities, and overall appearance.
Identify maintenance concerns before they become larger problems.
Work alongside the maintenance team to maintain high standards of quality and resident satisfaction.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies.

Must Have:

2 or more years of hands-on apartment maintenance or comparable residential property maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical repairs, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
Ability to diagnose problems, make repairs, and manage daily service requests with minimal supervision.
Experience completing apartment turns and preparing vacant units for new residents.
Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
Familiarity with workplace safety practices and OSHA standards.
EPA/HVAC certification or willingness to obtain the required certification.

Even Better If You Have:

EPA 608 certification.
Previous experience maintaining Class A or luxury apartment communities.
Pool maintenance experience or CPO certification.
Experience with maintenance work order software.
Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
