About the Role
\n
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will efficiently coordinate and implement repairs and perform equipment and facility maintenance in a cost-effective manner.
\n

What You’ll Do
\n

Daily inspection and repair of all conveyor systems and equipment
- \n
Routine inspection, preventative maintenance and maintenance of air compressors, compactors, bailers, cardboard conveyors and power and material handling equipment
- \n
Perform inspection and repair of fire protection equipment
- \n
Parts administration
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
- \n
- \n
Meet with department supervisor and/or manager to anticipate and plan for future preventive maintenance
- \n
Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to address mechanical opportunities while ensuring optimum processing productivity
- \n
Provide back-up for department Assistant Manager and/or Manager when absent
- \n
Compile and maintain accurate inventory records and reports
- \n
Provide on-the-job (OJT) training to Associates
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n

- \n
Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs, painting and office furniture moves
- \n
Perform routine maintenance on heating and air conditioning units
- \n
Maintain lighting throughout the facility
\n
\n
\n
\n
- \n
- \n
Assist outside contractors to perform various duties
- \n
Promptly answer calls for jams, malfunctions or other maintenance-related issues
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
What Skills You Have
\n
Required
\n
- \n
- \n
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipment
- \n
Compliance with all MSDS standards and lock-out/tag procedures
- \n
Ability to work with minimal supervision
- \n
Must provide own basic set of tools and keep the work area neat and clean
\n
\n
