Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer – Expert with strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, cloud migration, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and production operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, highly available cloud environments while providing technical leadership and driving cloud engineering best practices.

The candidate should be comfortable working on complex cloud initiatives, leading technical implementations, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and resilient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- AWS Cloud Engineering: Design, build, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, establish engineering best practices, and lead complex cloud engineering initiatives.
- Cloud Migration: Plan and execute cloud migration activities, including infrastructure modernization, application migration, and optimization.
- Kubernetes & EKS: Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure automation using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
- CI/CD & Automation: Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.
- Observability & Monitoring: Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Design and implement HA/DR strategies, backup and recovery processes, and business continuity solutions.
- Production Support: Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive permanent resolutions.
- Security & Compliance: Apply cloud security best practices, IAM controls, network security, and governance standards.
- Performance & Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve cloud performance, scalability, resource utilization, and cost efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with application development, DevOps, security, and architecture teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
\n

- 8+ years of overall experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or related technical roles.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong understanding of AWS architecture, networking, IAM, compute, storage, and cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, observability, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and support mission-critical production environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
