A Maintenance Technician opportunity with a family-owned manufacturing company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and millwright maintenance under the guidance of senior mechanics.
- Assist with equipment disassembly, reassembly, repairs, and major maintenance projects.
- Handle routine carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and facility repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance, lubricate equipment, replace filters, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Follow safety procedures and report faulty or damaged equipment.
Requirements:
- Experience or training in mechanical maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, or masonry.
- High school diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Basic math, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification; safety training will be provided.
