L4 Deskside Technician (White Glove Support)
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 2-Month Project Onsite (Starting July)
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Level 4 (L4) Deskside Technician to join a high-profile deployment project in Irving, TX. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role providing white glove IT support to end users during a large-scale endpoint deployment. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, professional, and committed to delivering an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide white glove deskside support for end users during device deployments.
- Address day-one technical issues and ensure users are fully operational.
- Assist users with logins, system access, and workstation orientation.
- Deploy, install, and configure desktop and laptop hardware.
- Perform endpoint imaging, provisioning, and software configuration.
- Install and configure network connectivity, monitors, printers, and other peripherals.
- Migrate user data, settings, and applications to new devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues at the deskside.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams for escalations and backend support.
- Follow technical procedures, deployment documentation, and project schedules to ensure successful service delivery.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and supporting computer equipment in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with endpoint deployment, imaging, provisioning, and device refresh projects.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows PCs, applications, and peripheral devices.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide executive-level or white glove support in a professional environment.
- Experience coordinating with technical teams to resolve escalated issues.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
