Join Toyo Tires and take ownership of reliability in a modern, automated plant. As our Manufacturing Reliability Supervisor (Robotics & PLCs), you’ll guide maintenance teams to deliver uptime, safety, and quality—every shift, every line.
What You Will Own
- People & Performance
- Lead, coach, and develop Maintenance Technicians and Team Leaders.
- Run daily stand-ups; translate departmental priorities into actionable plans.
- Provide training, conduct evaluations, and hold development discussions.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and grow talent in partnership with HR.
- Resolve employee concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintenance Execution
- Schedule people, equipment, materials, and services to meet production needs.
- Plan work, estimate manpower, and align resources to complete assignments.
- Coordinate maintenance with production to protect uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex issues to cut downtime and elevate equipment performance.
- Ensure all work is executed safely and efficiently.
- Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Operationalize EHS, 5S, ISO quality, and production objectives.
- Uphold safety policies and champion a culture of accountability.
- Interpret and enforce company policies across the team.
- Advance continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with peers, production leaders, vendors, suppliers, and technical experts.
- Build strong relationships and align on solutions to equipment and operational challenges.
Qualifications Education & Experience (choose one)
- Associate Degree from an accredited technical school or two-year college; or
- Minimum of two (2) years of leadership responsibility in industrial maintenance and training and a minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in a multi-craft industrial environment; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Proficiency
- Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC 500 and PLC-5)
- Mitsubishi PLCs
- ABB S3 and S4 Robotics
- AC and DC Servo Drives
- Inverter and DC Drive Systems
- Highly automated manufacturing equipment and robotics
- Industrial troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Preventive and corrective maintenance systems
