Position responsibilities:

  • Take phone calls for rental equipment.
  • Fill customer and internal requests – check all resources if equipment isn’t readily available in fleet.
  • Input trucking data into electronic logs.
  • Work with outside freight carriers for out of state shipments.
  • Place orders for any re-rents from outside vendors.
  • Prepare and follow up on rental quotes.
  • Enter hour meter readings in system on rental contracts.
  • Close and invoice rental orders.
  • Initiate rental orders and generate/distribute shippers.
  • Process vendor invoices for payment
  • Manage the check in and check out of each rental and ensure that all attachments (forks, LP tanks, attachments, etc.) are returned at check in.
  • Review the general condition of rental equipment upon return and make sure damages are billed to customer if appropriate (coordinate through service dept).
  • Maintain rental equipment status in Quipware.
  • Ensure all rentals are ready to go per customer’s delivery request.
  • Assist credit department with customer billing issues
  • Manage hour meter readings on long term rentals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good computer proficiency
  • Must be certified to operate powered industrial equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (general office area); however, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to noisier shop environments. When performing duties of this job, it is a requirement to wear Personal Protective Equipment whenever appropriate.
