Job DescriptionDescription:

The Project Manager III (PrM) will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of assigned DRG programs and projects. The PrM is charged with responsibility for all aspects of the particular programs and projects to include program requirements, risk, quality, concurrency, configuration and system safety management, as well as the execution of proposed plans and schedules. The PrM has the authority to perform day-to-day operations, but must consult with senior leadership prior to making any decisions that impact budget, schedule, requirements or deliverables.


Essential duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for ensuring all contract requirements are met including management, operations, maintenance support, and/or engineering change proposal modifications and upgrades.

Serves as the primary interface focal with the prime contractor program authorities and subcontract suppliers for technical, operational, system sustainment, procurement, personnel, and administrative issues.

Serves as the principle point of interface between DRG corporate leadership, program personnel, subcontract suppliers, and the primary customer.

Assists in the bid and proposal process as well as other program assistance as directed.

Assists corporate program managers with tasks as directed.

Coordinates with corporate functional areas for personnel support and meeting contractual requirements.

All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required

7 plus years of program support and/or project management experience required

Collective bargaining agreement and labor relations knowledge a plus.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Familiar with Federal Procurement Process a plus.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee and serve as point of contact between program site(s), personnel and day to day functionality adhering to contract and customer requirements


Security Responsibilities

Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance throughout duration of employment


Must sign a company non-disclosure agreement prior to accessing controlled information.

Reasoning Ability and Mathematical Skills

Must be able to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


Ability to interpret postal regulations and apply them to daily operations.


Must be able to calculate basic figures related to mail processing (weights, postage categories, etc.).


Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work involves fast-paced operations, customer interaction, and strict timelines.
