Job Title: Evening Commercial Cleaner
Location: Sterling, VA 20164
Job Type: Contract, Part Time
Pay: $21.00/hr
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
About the Role
A client of ours in Sterling, VA is hiring an Evening Commercial Cleaner for a contract assignment. You will keep high traffic areas clean and stocked during the evening shift.
Responsibilities
- Clean high traffic areas as assigned by your supervisor
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, restrooms, elevators, and storage areas
- Dust furniture, walls, and equipment
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Restock restrooms with paper products and soap
- Follow safe procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment
- Keep cleaning supplies stored securely
Requirements
- 2 years of commercial cleaning, custodial, or facilities experience
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status (green card) required, must be shown on first day
- Steel toe shoes required, must be worn on first day
- Able to work Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Able to stand, stoop, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to Sterling, VA
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
Preferred
- Experience with floor buffers, vacuums, or other power cleaning equipment
- Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
