Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating automated platforms that enable reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of the MX platform across SaaS, cloud, and on-premise environments.
- You will play a key role in CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, environment management, and production reliability, working closely with development, QA, and client-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
1. CI/CD & Release Engineering
\n
- \n
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, testing, and deployment across multiple environments
- Ensure pipeline stability, performance, and reliability, minimizing build failures and delays
- Implement automated build, packaging, and deployment processes
- Enforce version control best practices (branching strategies, tagging, artifact management)
- Support release cycles, including validation, smoke testing, and rollback strategies

2. Automation
\n
- \n
- Plan & Code Templates stored in Git repositories alongside application code, allowing template updates to be version-controlled, code-reviewed, and tracked
- Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and upgrades
- Build reusable automation components to improve scalability and consistency
- Reduce manual operations through process automation and scripting

3. Environment & Platform Management
\n
- \n
- Deploy and manage MX environments across development, testing, and production stages
- Handle environment lifecycle:
- o Provisioning
- o Configuration
- o Upgrades & patching
- o Decommissioning
- Ensure environments are standardized, reproducible, and compliant
- Support multi-client and multi-environment setups in SaaS or hybrid models

5. Monitoring, Observability & Reliability (SRE mindset)

- Implement and maintain:
- o Monitoring
- o Logging
- o Alerting
- Ensure end-to-end observability of platforms and pipelines
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on incidents
- Contribute to improving system reliability, SLAs, and operational KPIs

7. Data & Environment Operations

- Manage environment data lifecycle:
- o Data provisioning
- o Data masking for non-prod environments
- o Data sampling and reduction
- Support database operations:

- Ensure compliance with security and data governance requirements

8. Incident & Support Management
\n

- Act as a technical escalation point for environment and platform incidents
- Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, pipelines, and environments
- Coordinate with support and product teams for resolution
- Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing

9. Collaboration & Delivery Enablement

- Collaborate with:
- o Development teams (integration into CI/CD pipelines)
- o QA teams (test automation and environment consistency)

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills
\n

- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
- Version control systems: Git (advanced usage)
- Proficiency in template engines, specifically FreeMarker (FTL)
- Scripting: Shell, Python, Groovy
- Operating systems: Linux/Unix
- Cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure/GCP is a plus
- Databases: RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar)
