National Security Associate Attorney – Washington, DC
Our client, a leading global AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a National Security Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office, with a strong background in non-transactional sanctions matters. The firm's National Security practice provides strategic advice and counseling on regulatory, compliance, investigatory, and enforcement matters. The practice includes 50+ National Security lawyers, including former senior officials from DOJ, FBI, Treasury, Commerce, DoD, Department of State, NSC, and ODNI, as well as former federal and state prosecutors.
The estimated salary range for this position is $235,000 – $390,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- 2–6 years of experience in National Security, International Trade, and/or Sanctions matters, but must include some post-JD, work experience in sanctions matters
- Prior experience at a leading law firm or relevant government agency (prior CIA or FBI experience is advantageous)
- Admitted to the DC Bar or eligible to waive in
- Strong academic credentials required
