Live-In Superintendent (100+ Unit Apartment Community)
We are seeking an experienced Live-In Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of a well-maintained 100+ unit residential apartment community. This is a hands-on position for a dependable, organized professional who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive property. The position includes a spacious two-bedroom apartment as part of the compensation package, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to live on-site while managing a quality residential community.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and apartment turnovers
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests
- Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of the property and building systems
- Maintain common areas, mechanical rooms, and grounds
- Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC repairs
- Assist with emergency situations and participate in an on-call rotation as needed
- Ensure the property remains clean, safe, and in excellent condition
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Superintendent, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Technician in multifamily housing
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Salary: $50.000 - $55,000 + 2 bedroom apartment
