Job Description
An established real estate investment, development, and property management firm is looking to add a Property Accountant to its property accounting team, with a focus on a commercial mixed use portfolio. The team is working to automate a lot of its reporting, so you'll help manage automation efforts alongside leadership.

What You'll Do
\n
- \n
- Maintain and update workbook based financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial, mixed use operating assets while those reports are being automated
- Work closely with leadership on the rollout of new automated reporting tools
- Review and audit automated reports for accuracy once the new systems are in place
- Prepare and record journal entries
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Manage commercial accounts receivable
- Support the annual recovery (CAM/expense recovery) process for the commercial portfolio
- Serve as a point of contact for commercial tenants on accounting related questions

What You Bring

Must-haves:
\n

- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience
- Experience preparing journal entries and reconciling the general ledger
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
