Job Description Your Mission
Guard the quality of components moving from our factories into customer applications by inspecting, communicating, and documenting with discipline and speed.
What You’ll Tackle
- Conduct technical inspections of incoming production from our factories.
- Detect and categorize quality issues; initiate and support returns when required.
- Interface directly with suppliers and customers to resolve concerns and align on standards.
- Produce clear, data-backed inspection reports and maintain records in our ERP system.
What You’ll Use
- Precision instruments: calipers, pin gauges, optical comparators, durometers.
- Knowledge of materials, surface finishes, and relevant quality standards.
- Understanding of key manufacturing processes: Casting, CNC machining, Stamping, Extrusions, Injection Molding, Forging.
What You Bring
- At least 2 years of experience in QA/QC for metal and/or plastic components.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work quickly without losing accuracy.
- Comfort operating independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- General knowledge of ISO certification frameworks.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook; skilled with Windows-based ERP platforms (NetSuite experience is a plus).
- Background in handling customer complaints and vendor material rejections is a plus.
