Pay: $32.42/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Training: 1st Shift for 4–8 weeks
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant production equipment. This position will troubleshoot equipment issues, complete preventive maintenance, and help ensure production systems operate safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs, frequency drives, servo motors, refrigeration, boilers, and HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Identify needed repairs and estimate materials and costs.
- Use maintenance tools, instruments, and equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate repair records and inventories.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Work effectively with team members, technicians, and outside vendors.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- At least two years of related maintenance experience or a technical degree.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with food manufacturing, sanitary design, preventive maintenance, or 5S is a plus.
- Ability to work alternative schedules and assigned shifts.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform other physical tasks required in a manufacturing environment.
