Job Description
🚨 Role is not open to 3rd party support. 🚨
\n
\n
Location: NYC, Hybrid — local candidate preferred, 2–3 days/week
\n
Duration: 6+ Months
\n
Start: ASAP/Immediately
\n
\n
About the Role
\n
Our client, a private equity-backed company in the energy space, is executing an IT roadmap spanning ERP, business systems enhancements, data warehouse, and AI initiatives. They’re looking for a Project Manager who can step in immediately and bring order to a fast-moving, high-pressure environment where IT projects have historically been run by business stakeholders rather than dedicated PMs.
\n
\n
What You’ll Do
\n
- \n
- Own delivery across multiple concurrent IT/Dynamics projects, including an active ERP reimplementation kicked off with an external partner
- Manage the EMS/APM application implementation
- Track milestones, flag risks and roadblocks proactively — this is a “fix it before it’s late” role, not a status-reporting one
- Coordinate across a hybrid internal/external team structure (in-office Dynamics developer, remote team lead, CEO-aligned stakeholders)
- Use GitHub and Microsoft Dynamics as core PM/dev tracking tools
- Help juggle different project types simultaneously — new ERP build, system enhancements, and AI/Copilot rollout support
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
What You Bring
\n
- \n
- 7–10 years of PM experience — seasoned enough to run independently from day one, not early-career
- Strong CRM project experience (required)
- Experience running ERP implementations (Workday, Dynamics, or similar) — direct Sage experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable operating with significant ambiguity and shifting priorities under EOY pressure
- Energy/renewables industry experience a plus, not required
