ThCleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting offices, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, removing trash, and restocking supplies as needed.
The position requires following established cleaning procedures, using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, reporting maintenance or safety concerns, and ensuring all areas meet company cleanliness and safety standards. The Janitor must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to providing a clean and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
General Cleaners Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
- Utilize a walk behind scrubber
- Cleaning restrooms, break-rooms, dusting and trash removal
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
Requirements:
- Experience with cleaning commercial buildings a plus, but not required
- Must have the ability to work with other crew members
- Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work in hot conditions
- Must be able to pass background & drug screen
