Roles & Responsibilities
\n
\n
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
\n
· Minimum 8+ years experience in Python development projects.
\n
· Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications and microservices to support enterprise automation platforms.
\n
· Build, enhance, and support REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
\n
· Develop and maintain Kafka-based event-driven integrations for real-time data processing and system communication.
\n
· Create, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, data pipelines, and data-processing logic using platforms such as Starburst/Trino.
\n
· Perform unit testing, code reviews, defect fixes, root-cause analysis, and ensure code quality through best practices.
\n
· Support application deployments, production releases, CI/CD pipelines, and post-release validation activities.
\n
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while ensuring platform reliability, stability, and performance.
\n
· Work with OpenShift, Redis, object storage, and cloud-native technologies to build and maintain enterprise solutions.
\n
· Collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, developers, and partner teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
\n
· Participate in platform modernization, migration, and integration initiatives to improve system scalability and efficiency.
\n
· Develop and maintain workflow orchestration solutions using Apache Airflow or Astronomer when required.
\n
· Utilize Git-based version control, branching strategies, and release management processes.
\n
· Leverage AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies to improve development productivity and code quality.
\n
· Document technical designs, implementation approaches, and operational procedures.
\n
· Take ownership of assigned development tasks and contribute to continuous improvement of the automation platform.
