Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking motivated experienced Maintenance Mechanics!
The Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for proactively maintaining operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive / predictive maintenance.
Compensation & Hours:
- The starting salary for this position is $33.20/hour
- 12-hour shifts 4:15 pm - 4:30 am
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment by completing required repairs on production machines
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Process necessary documentation regarding procedures performed.
- Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical and hydraulic repairs used in mechanical maintenance work assignments.
- Locate sources of problems by observing electrical/mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
- Ensures all maintenance and repair activities are in compliance with OSHA, Federal, Local and plant safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in equipment maintenance/preventative maintenance procedures
- Pneumatic/Hydraulics
- Being able to read schematics
- Problem solving skills
- Basic understanding of safety procedures
- Experience with power tools
- Critical decision-making ability
- Experience in industrial manufacturing a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Flexible and dependable with reliable transportation
- Pass a drug test and background check

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of custom wood products, cabinetry, and various woodworking projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong craftsmanship skills, familiarity with construction plans, and experience working with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality residential and commercial projects while developing your expertise in carpentry and woodworking.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute woodworking tasks
Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently
Trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and siding projects
Perform heavy lifting and material handling using appropriate safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards
Qualifications and requirements:
Able to use an read a measuring tape.
Able to pass a drug screen (including THC) and a background check.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
Strong understanding of power tool safety practices and proper handling of hand tools
Ability to perform physical tasks requiring heavy lifting and prolonged standing
