Maintenance Supervisor | Smyrna, TN | Multifamily Housing
Brookside is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to grow with us.
As we continue expanding our presence in the Smyrna area, we’re looking for a skilled maintenance leader who is ready to take ownership, lead a team, and help us build a strong, high-performing maintenance operation.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a maintenance professional with HVAC expertise, EPA certification, and multifamily supervisory experience. What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations
- Supervise, coach, and support the onsite maintenance team
- Prioritize and complete resident service requests and repairs
- Coordinate apartment turns and make-readies to support occupancy goals
- Perform and oversee preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and other building systems
- Coordinate outside contractors and vendors
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained community
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
- Participate in an emergency on-call rotation as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of apartment/multifamily maintenance supervisory experience required
- EPA Certification required
- Strong hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general property maintenance
- Ability to lead a team and effectively prioritize multiple projects
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, professional, and committed to providing excellent resident service
