Job DescriptionMaintenance TechWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Baytown, TX. The maintenance technician must possess a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions within a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for repairs, preventative and scheduled maintenance of equipment and machinery.
Pay Rate
$25 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Saturday. Rotation shifts: 7am- 7pm & 7pm-7am

Maintenance Tech Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment (conveyors, rotary valves, motors, pumps, etc.)
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
• Support preventative maintenance (PM) program and complete work orders.
• Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and basic fabrication.
• Follow lockout/ tagout (LOTO) and all safety procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns
• Maintain and organize spare-parts inventory for equipment and machinery.

Maintenance Tech Qualifications and Requirements

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance or mechanical technician experience.
• Strong troubleshooting ability (mechanical preferred; basic electrical a plus).
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools.
• Abilit to read basic mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Experience with rotary airlocks, conveyors, and bulk material handling systems (preferred).
• Forklift or lift equipment experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
