Job Description

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a well-established commercial real estate owner, developer, and operator to identify a Leasing Representative. This role will be responsible for leasing office and industrial properties to new and existing clients, managing both new transactions and renewals. The Leasing Representative will build relationships with prospective and current clients, work closely with the brokerage community, and partner across internal teams to develop space solutions that meet client needs while maximizing portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

• Develop relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand space requirements and identify leasing opportunities.

\n

• Present available properties and space solutions to prospective clients and commercial real estate brokers.

\n

• Prepare proposals, leases, amendments, and other leasing documentation while negotiating lease terms and conditions.

\n

• Manage relationships with existing clients throughout the lease term, supporting retention and identifying renewal opportunities.

\n

• Coordinate with internal teams on space planning, construction estimating, tenant improvements, and other client requirements.

\n

• Represent the organization at networking, industry, and community events while developing relationships within the commercial real estate market.

Qualifications:

\n

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business or related degree preferred.

\n

• Strong interest in commercial real estate, leasing, sales, and relationship development.

\n

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present effectively to clients and brokers.

\n

• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and business development skills.

\n

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple clients, transactions, and priorities simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
