Managing a commercial property isn't just about collecting rent; it’s about asset optimization. When you are caught in the weeds of tenant demands, vendor friction, and compliance updates, it's impossible to focus on your larger portfolio strategy.

Our multi year client handles the heavy lifting so you can focus on building relationships / managing your 4 person team. We are searching for a PM due to a current employee moving out of state after many years on this site. Big Shoes to fill!

Responsibilities

\n
Operations:
\n
- \n
- Carry out the asset’s management plan, run daily operations in line with company policy, oversee construction, and resolve tenant requests quickly.
\n
\n
Team:
\n
- \n
- Hire, train and review staff, keep staffing within budget, and handle discipline and union grievances.
\n
\n
Risk & compliance:
\n
- \n
- Inspect the site every two weeks, keep licenses, permits and manuals current, and fix violations promptly.
\n
\n
Tenants:
\n
- \n
- Build good tenant relationships, keep rent and receivables current, and support the leasing team.
\n
\n
Budget:
\n
- \n
- Prepare the annual budget and keep spending within it, following company procurement policy.
\n
\n
\n
Requirements
\n
\n
- \n
- 5+ years managing commercial real estate in Manhattan
- Strong financial skills and experience overseeing large projects
- MS Office (Word and Excel) and Yardi/MRI
- Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
