Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for projects located in or around Wheeling, IL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyor systems
- Work with pumps, motors, gear boxes, PLCs, and production equipment
- Diagnose machine failures and equipment issues
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
- Replace worn or damaged components
- Minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting and repairs
- Work independently and as part of a team to support production operations
Requirements:
- Previous verifiable experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good attendance and reliability
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
- Willingness to work night shifts is preferred
