We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations at a senior affordable housing community. The ideal candidate brings strong HUD compliance, income recertification, resident relations, and property management experience.
Responsibilities:
- Process annual and interim income certifications and recertifications.
- Support leasing, applications, waitlists, move-ins, and move-outs.
- Maintain accurate resident files and follow HUD and Fair Housing requirements.
- Coordinate maintenance requests, inspections, and resident services.
- Oversee property operations and staff in the Property Manager’s absence.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of property management experience, preferably in HUD project-based subsidized housing.
- Knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3 and recent Fair Housing training.
- Strong organization, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior residents.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) preferred.
