Fleamasters Flea Market is looking for reliable, observant, and professional Security Team Members to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our guests, sellers, and employees.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, stays calm under pressure, and is comfortable working independently. You will serve as a visible presence throughout the property, assist visitors, monitor activity, and respond professionally when concerns arise.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
- Greet guests and assist with directions or general questions.
- Patrol buildings, parking areas, entrances, and outdoor spaces by foot and golf cart.
- Monitor and document vehicles and individuals entering the property.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and safety concerns.
- Help de-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally.
- Report suspicious activity, hazards, or security concerns.
- Complete incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Perform routine checks of gates, doors, and perimeter areas.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional and customer-focused when interacting with guests and sellers.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
- Previous security, customer service, military, or public-safety experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to patrol a large property by foot or golf cart.
- Ability to bend, reach, climb, and respond quickly when needed.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
