Director of Facilities, Maintenance & Construction
Location: Philadelphia, PA / South Jersey
Compensation: Around $150,000, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee 10-20 facilities, maintenance, and construction needs across a multi-site retail and real estate portfolio
• Manage repairs, preventative maintenance, renovations, buildouts, and capital improvement projects
• Partner with operations, leadership, vendors, contractors, landlords, and internal teams to keep locations operating efficiently
• Source, manage, and hold vendors and contractors accountable for quality, timelines, and cost
• Identify facility issues, prioritize work, and drive projects from start to completion
• Manage project budgets, timelines, compliance, safety, and overall execution
Ideal Background:
• Experience leading facilities, maintenance, construction, or real estate support across multiple locations
• Background in grocery, retail, restaurant, C-store, commercial real estate, or another high-volume multi-site environment
• Strong vendor management, project management, and construction oversight experience
• Ability to be hands-on, responsive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
• Strong communication skills with operations teams, leadership, vendors, and contractors
• Based in or able to support the Philadelphia / South Jersey market
