Position Overview

Venture Solutions is seeking a hands-on General Maintenance Technician to support facility and warehouse operations at its Fort Worth location.

The technician will perform routine facility maintenance, preventive maintenance, basic repairs, equipment servicing, and facility inspections. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who is comfortable working independently in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and handling a variety of maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, and basic electrical work.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic break/fix repairs on facility equipment.
• Inspect facility infrastructure and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with outside contractors and vendors.
• Operate power tools, lifts, and other facility-maintenance equipment safely.
• Perform basic machine servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable equipment and workplace safety requirements.
• Document completed work and prepare basic maintenance reports.
• Prioritize maintenance requests based on operational and business needs.
• Assist with facility security audits and monitoring of facility infrastructure.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform duties independently with limited supervision.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance or related facilities experience.
• Previous experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or similar facility.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities with contractors or vendors.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and facility equipment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Basic HVAC and compressed-air systems knowledge.
• Basic plumbing and carpentry experience.
• Drywall repair and painting experience.
• Preventive maintenance experience.
• Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and general computer skills.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing facility.
