Head of Infrastructure

Our infrastructure is the foundation every product, customer, and compliance commitment is built on - and we need a proven leader to own it end-to-end. If you have deep cloud-native expertise, strong SRE instincts, and the leadership skills to grow and inspire cross-functional teams, this is the role where your work directly shapes business outcomes.

What you'll do

• Own the multi-year infrastructure roadmap across cloud operations, DevOps, and SRE, translating business priorities into resilient, cost-efficient architecture decisions.

• Lead, mentor, and grow distributed engineering teams responsible for cloud platforms, reliability, and automation - setting clear goals and building a culture of operational excellence.

• Design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure (public, private, and hybrid) using IaC, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines that accelerate product delivery.

• Define and enforce SLA/SLO/SLI frameworks, own incident response and post-incident reviews, and drive systemic improvements that reduce toil and downtime.

• Partner with security and compliance to implement and maintain SOC 2, ISO, and relevant regulatory controls, particularly for regulated-industry customers.

• Manage cloud cost optimization, vendor relationships, and capacity planning to maximize performance per dollar.

• Lead disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity programs, including regular testing and board-level reporting on infrastructure risk.

What you need

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.

• 3+ years in a senior leadership position managing engineering teams.

• Deep expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native tooling including Kubernetes, Terraform or equivalent IaC, and modern observability stacks.

• Proven experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment workflows, and incident management practices at scale.

• Demonstrated ability to implement or support security and compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO) and communicate infrastructure risk to executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as Fintech, Healthcare, Accounting, or Audit.

• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure or supporting data science and analytics teams.

• Experience partnering with GTM leadership to balance reliability, feature velocity, and time-to-market trade-offs.

Pay & benefits

$225k-$290k + Equity for total comp up to $400k+
