Nightingale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Erie, PA

Full-Time Position

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance/Groundskeeper to support the overall upkeep, safety, and appearance of our facility. What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.

• Assist with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building upkeep to maintain a high level of quality and safety.

• Maintain grounds, including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and seasonal landscaping to enhance the overall appearance of our facility.

• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner to ensure efficient problem-solving and resolution.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and secure environment.

• Support housekeeping and other departments as needed to provide exceptional care to our residents.

• Promote a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors by consistently demonstrating a commitment to excellence.

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance or groundskeeping experience is required.

• Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques is essential.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks is crucial to success.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary to ensure high-quality work.

• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach to work is essential.

• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as needed is a must.

• Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
