Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain on-premises, colocation, and public cloud infrastructure (Azure and/or GCP).
- Lead management of directory services, cloud identity, and role-based access controls.
- Own endpoint lifecycle management, including imaging, MDM administration, patching, and deployment.
- Oversee endpoint security, EDR, and device monitoring tools.
- Design, implement, and routinely test backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex issues, and mentor service desk staff.
- Monitor infrastructure and endpoint health, performance, availability, and security.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and IT standards.
- Contribute to process improvement, automation, security initiatives, and infrastructure roadmap planning.
- Provide hands-on capacity to keep critical projects on schedule and reduce operational risk.
- Support identity initiatives such as HR-driven provisioning, ITSM workflow automation, identity requirements for customer-facing applications, privileged access modernization, and ongoing identity governance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of systems administration experience in hybrid environments (on-prem or colo, plus Azure and/or GCP).
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune is highly preferred.
