Job Description
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance function, leading a team of approximately 12 hourly maintenance employees. This individual will be responsible for driving a strong safety-first culture while ensuring reliable plant operations, equipment performance, employee development, quality, productivity, and cost control.

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, train, and develop a team of maintenance employees while fostering a high-accountability, safety-first culture.
- Develop and execute the plant maintenance strategy to improve equipment reliability, uptime, productivity, quality, capacity, and operating performance.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, including PM scheduling, work-order execution, TPM/RWP initiatives, and root-cause failure analysis for chronic equipment issues.
- Drive plant safety, housekeeping, environmental compliance, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions with the goal of zero recordable injuries.
- Manage maintenance labor, repair, replacement, and capital budgets while identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve resource utilization.
- Partner with production, engineering, technical, and shift leadership teams to establish maintenance priorities and support daily manufacturing operations.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts that eliminate waste, enhance safety, reduce downtime, improve machine performance, and increase productivity.
- Build and retain a strong maintenance team through performance management, coaching, training, certification tracking, succession planning, and consistent enforcement of plant policies and procedures.

Maintenance Manager Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Previous experience leading, supervising, or developing maintenance personnel in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, work-order systems, equipment reliability, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability Work Process (RWP) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead safety improvement initiatives and create an injury-free work environment.
- Experience managing maintenance budgets, repair costs, capital projects, and resource allocation.
