Provide SharePoint Administration support to a U.S. Department of War (DoW) customer.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:

• Maintain the PA SharePoint environment; maintain and enhance existing site collections and applications
• Implement SharePoint solutions for communications, collaboration, and content management; serve as focal point with DISA J6 on the SharePoint environment upgrade
• Change control for data, documents, and SharePoint design; identify and change baselines affecting approved configurations
• Develop migration/project plans (timelines, implementation, testing); participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for PA clients; plan and execute migrations to newer SharePoint versions or SharePoint Online, and integrate with other Microsoft 365 or third-party services
• Build SharePoint-based workflows and proof-of-concept examples; develop sites using web parts, workflows, content types, and templates; custom development using SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Power Platform, or SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Manage user permissions and access rights, applying security best practices
• Monitor and optimize performance (site responsiveness, storage, database management, caching); troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, work with Microsoft support as needed
• Document configurations and procedures; provide user training; stay current with SharePoint/M365 trends

• Security+ certification, either held already or obtained within 90 days of start date
