ComResource is looking for a DataStage Engineer (Second Shift).
Responsibilities:
- Provide rapid diagnosis and resolution of job failures (abends) to maintain test and production stability.
- Monitor and tune DataStage platform performance under increased test and cutover volumes.
- Provide hands-on platform oversight and issue resolution during mock cycles, conversion weekend, and the stabilization period that follows.
- Proactively detect and resolve job performance issues, bottlenecks, and abends that could impact critical conversion processing.
- Tune and optimize DataStage jobs to scale and meet cutover and mock testing throughput requirements under high-volume workloads.
- Provide Level 3–4 engineering support, including advanced troubleshooting, root cause identification, and rapid remediation to prevent cascading conversion delays.
- Support business continuity across integrations impacting customer account setup, transaction history migration, downstream regulatory reporting, and product readiness.
Essentials:
- Advanced DataStage expertise, including troubleshooting, platform engineering, and optimization.
- Experience providing Level 3–4 support in production and test environments.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–10:00 PM Eastern time.
- Flexibility for planned weekend hours during key conversion and mock cycle events.
