Full Throttle Security Corp. is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain safe, secure, and well-managed environments for people and assets in Orlando, FL.
Position Summary
As a Security Officer, you will help protect company property, personnel, and visitors by monitoring assigned areas, following established security procedures, and responding appropriately to incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining order, deterring wrongdoing, and ensuring a safe, professional atmosphere.
This full-time, onsite role requires a dependable, alert presence and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor assigned premises and activity to deter violations and ensure compliance with security procedures

Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle, observing for safety and security concerns

Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, and timely manner

Document observations, incidents, and resolutions in accordance with company reporting standards

Maintain a visible security presence while providing courteous, helpful customer service to visitors and staff
Required Qualifications

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness

Strong situational awareness and judgment in dynamic or high-visibility environments

Professional communication skills for interacting with clients, visitors, and internal teams

Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to follow established procedures consistently

Willingness to work onsite in Orlando, FL in a full-time capacity

Must have valid Driver's license

Must have Florida state Class D Security license
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in security, loss prevention, or a related field

Familiarity with basic incident reporting and documentation practices

Experience handling access control, visitor management, or escort procedures

Training or familiarity with de-escalation techniques and incident response protocols
Compensation
Hourly rate: $16
