Position Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to support the modernization of complex IT infrastructure and mission systems in Warner Robins, Georgia.
The Cloud Infrastructure Architect will work with cloud architects, engineers, stakeholders, and customers to design, develop, test, and implement cloud solution components. The role supports cloud infrastructure throughout its lifecycle, including architecture, modernization, implementation, and sustainment.
The position works within a DevOps environment and includes cloud infrastructure, containerized applications, cloud solution design, system documentation, and collaboration with technical and customer stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Architect and support on-premises and cloud solutions for intelligence systems.

Design cloud infrastructure and computing solutions.

Design, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components.

Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers, particularly within AWS environments.

Support cloud modernization initiatives for legacy computing platforms and applications.

Develop and implement cloud-based technical solutions.

Work within a DevOps framework.

Support containerized applications and technologies such as Kubernetes.

Document systems and architectures using tools such as Visio and/or Cameo.

Draft policies and guidance related to cloud maintenance and sustainment.

Communicate with end users and engineers to ensure new models and solutions align with architectural standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to determine and deliver appropriate technical solutions.

Support cloud implementation and sustainment activities.

Work with technical teams to address cloud infrastructure and solution requirements.

Contribute to the modernization of mission-focused systems and infrastructure.
Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience architecting on-premises and cloud solutions for intelligence systems, including IT infrastructure design and cloud computing.

3+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and debugging cloud solution components for applications and solutions.

Experience documenting systems using Visio and/or Cameo.

Experience drafting policy and guidance for cloud maintenance and sustainment.
-
Ability to communicate with end users and engineers to ensure new models align with architectural standards.

Active TS/SCI clearance.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
-
AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
-
AWS Associate-level certification.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting DoD clients.

Experience transforming legacy weapon systems.

Knowledge of Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS).

AWS Cloud DevOps certification.

Hands-on AWS cloud experience.

Experience working in a DevOps environment.

Experience with container technologies, including Kubernetes.

Experience supporting cloud modernization and migration activities.

Experience with cloud infrastructure design and implementation.
