The Scheduler shall be responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and updating project schedules, monitoring project progress, identifying schedule risks, and providing scheduling support for assigned projects.
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
a. Develop, review, update, and maintain baseline and progress schedules for assigned projects.
b. Prepare, analyze, and monitor project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software, as applicable.
c. Review contractor, consultant, and other project schedules for completeness, logic, sequencing, duration, and compliance with contract requirements.
d. Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify actual or potential schedule variances.
e. Perform critical path analyses and identify activities affecting project completion.
f. Evaluate schedule impacts associated with proposed changes, delays, differing site conditions, change orders, or other project events.
g. Prepare schedule recovery analyses and recommend corrective actions, when requested.
h. Generate schedule reports, look-ahead schedules, milestone updates, and other scheduling documentation required for project monitoring and reporting.
i. Coordinate scheduling activities with the Engineer, Project Manager, Estimator, Financial Management Specialist, contractors, consultants, and other assigned personnel to ensure schedule consistency and timely project delivery.
j. Maintain documentation supporting schedule development, updates, assumptions, progress evaluations, and schedule analyses.
k. Participate in project meetings to provide schedule status updates, identify schedule risks, and support project decision-making.
l. Assist in the review and validation of contractors' schedule updates, time extension requests, and schedule-related contract compliance.
The Scheduler shall possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field, and shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction scheduling, schedule development, schedule analysis, project controls, or similar services.
