Seeking a detail-oriented, independent Manufacturing Project Manager to drive complex electronics manufacturing and process improvement projects from concept to delivery. Responsible for owning tasks without oversight, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring technical systems are delivered with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Management: Manage projects from requirements gathering to final delivery, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
- Documentation & Planning: Author and maintain precise technical documentation, including SOPs and BOMs; manage project schedules using Excel and Gantt charts.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate procurement, fabrication, and production resources for seamless execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Use data and metrics to drive process improvements; support quoting through labor and material estimation.
- Communication: Act as primary point of contact between customers, vendors, and internal technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), Engineering Technology, Supply Chain & Operations Management, Project Management, or related field.
- Strong experience with project planning tools such as Excel and Gantt charts.
- Technical writing experience.
- Familiarity with MRP systems or BOMs.
- Lean manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen familiarity is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, multitask across shifting priorities, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
