Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree and four (4) to ten (10) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

\n

• Operational experience with Linux-based operating systems, web and database servers, storage and network components and concepts

\n

• Security best practices and techniques, including patch management, encryption, network and systems hardening and segmentation, defense in depth

\n

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

\n

• Operational experience troubleshooting and managing complex production environments

\n

• Operational experience with the following tools and technologies:

\n

• Configuration Management Solutions (Puppet/Ansible/Chef)

\n

• Infrastructure Virtualization Platforms (VSphere/KVM/OpenStack/ VirtualBox)

\n

• Apache / Nginx Web Servers

\n

• MariaDB / MySQL Database Servers

\n

• Shell scripting: bash / Perl / Python or equivalents

\n

• Office Applications and Ticket Systems

\n

\n

\n

Preferred Skills and Technologies

\n

\n
• DevOps toolchain and concepts, particularly configuration and monitoring

\n

• Container Technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)

\n

• Message Bus Technologies (Kafka/RabbitMQ)

\n

• Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana)

\n

• LAN and WAN Networking

\n

• Version control (Git)

\n

• Secrets Management

\n

• Web based API Operation and Usage
