Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience repairing and maintaining CNC machine tools
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to operate CNC lathes and mills in addition to performing repairs
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and machine manuals
- Hands-on experience with CNC control systems such as Okuma OSP, Fanuc controls
- Experience with Swiss-type/sliding headstock machines including Nomura equipment
- Knowledge of machine maintenance practices and spare parts inventory management
- Experience working with OEM service technicians and warranty repair processes
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on CNC machines including lathes, mills, and Swiss-type equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and machine calibrations to reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC control systems such as Okuma OSP and Fanuc controls
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and spare parts inventories
- Support production by operating CNC lathes and mills as needed, and coordinate with service providers for complex repairs
