Job Title: Senior .Net Developer
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Locals only with State/ Government experience)
Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Not specified (standard work schedule Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Duration: 6 Months (August 1, 2026 – January 31, 2027)

Scope of Work Requirements
The contractor shall provide a Software Developer resource to support the maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise applications supporting schools, including web-based educational planning, compliance management, and school administration applications
The contractor shall not replace assigned personnel without prior written approval from the client, except in emergency or separation circumstances. If assigned personnel become unavailable or the client determines that performance is unsatisfactory, the contractor shall propose a qualified replacement within five business days, or another timeframe approved by the client. Replacement personnel must meet or exceed the qualifications required by this solicitation and complete all required onboarding and clearance requirements before beginning work
Software Developer Duties
- Effectively complete application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; troubleshooting development and production support issues across multiple environments and platforms
- Lead system design and development methodologies and toolsets to deliver a modernized web-based application
- Perform unit, integration, and load testing of complex websites, systems integrations, and application interfaces
- Lead the design and implementation of database architecture, including data loads and data quality assurance
- Gather customer software requirements and propose optimal software solutions and technologies to address business needs
- Establish and implement standards, practices, and procedures that facilitate high-quality application delivery
- Collaborate with project management, leadership, and business users to provide project estimates, schedules, status updates, and change revisions
- Participate in application design strategy and code review meetings
- Mentor and support other team members as needed
- Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation of all system application components, including user guides and support materials
- Comply with all applicable information security, confidentiality, data privacy, access control, and secure development requirements. Contractor personnel shall only access, use, disclose, store, transmit, or remove data as necessary to perform authorized work. All source code, documentation, configurations, and work products shall be handled in accordance with contractual ownership and confidentiality requirements
- Follow approved accessibility standards and applicable public-sector accessibility requirements when developing or modifying user-facing web applications, forms, reports, or digital content
Qualification
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience building complex .NET web applications, API services, functions, workflows, and SQL Server solutions
- 5 years of ASP.NET/MVC
- 5 years of C# programming
- 5 years of REST/SOAP API and web services design
- 3 years of modern/mobile responsive front-end development using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3
- 5 years of Angular
- 3 years of Entity Framework and SQL Server 2012 or higher
- 5 years of .NET Core
.Preferred Experience (3+ Years)
- Oracle 11g or higher database and PL/SQL programming
- PostgreSQL version 9 or higher
- TypeScript and Node.js
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Microservices architecture
- Cloud hosting and deployment (Azure or AWS)
