Job DescriptionCDR ProSource is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician I for a full-time, second-shift opportunity in Kalamazoo, MI. This position is ideal for a maintenance professional with mechanical and electrical knowledge who is looking to support the repair, upkeep, and reliability of production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour

Requirements

  • Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
  • Perform routine equipment repairs and adjustments to help minimize production downtime.
  • Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential maintenance concerns.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely.
  • Complete assigned work orders and document maintenance activities accurately.
  • Assist with equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance projects as needed.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work closely with production and maintenance team members to address equipment issues.

Qualifications

  • Previous industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures preferred.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to read basic equipment manuals, diagrams, or technical documentation.
  • Willingness to learn and develop additional maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and equipment reliability.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work a full-time second-shift schedule.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the shift.
