Overview
\n
Our client is seeking a Chief Cybersecurity Engineer to provide technical leadership for the development, modernization, enhancement, operation, integration, and sustainment of enterprise cybersecurity services and capabilities. This individual will serve as the senior technical authority for cybersecurity engineering efforts within the program, acting as the primary point of contact for technical cybersecurity matters and reporting directly to the Government Chief of Cybersecurity Engineering.

Responsibilities

- Provide engineering expertise and guidance for the design, development, implementation, operation, and sustainment of cybersecurity services that strengthen the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.
- Lead the research, analysis, solution design, and implementation planning for modernization initiatives involving cybersecurity technologies and infrastructure.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute cybersecurity engineering strategies and roadmaps.
- Drive technical innovation across cybersecurity programs, leveraging deep expertise in enterprise cybersecurity operations and emerging technologies.
- Provide expert-level systems analysis, architecture, integration, and engineering guidance on complex cybersecurity challenges.
- Support the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure cybersecurity solutions within large enterprise environments.
- Present technical strategies, recommendations, and status briefings to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
- Proven experience implementing, engineering, architecting, designing, or operating cybersecurity technologies, preferably within DoD environments.
- Experience leading the design and implementation of complex cybersecurity IT solutions on large-scale programs with contract values exceeding $100M.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience serving as a Chief Engineer, Chief Architect, Functional Manager, or Team Lead.
- Demonstrated success modernizing complex enterprise cybersecurity systems and infrastructures.
- Experience delivering presentations and briefings to senior customer leadership and stakeholders.
- DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M certifications including:
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III
- Information Assurance System Architecture & Engineering (IASAE) Level III

Preferred Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Experience supporting intelligence community or Department of Defense organizations in cybersecurity engineering, design, and operations.
- 5+ years of experience supporting cloud adoption and migration initiatives, including hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of and experience applying:
- ICD 503 Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- NIST Special Publications
- CNSS 1253
- ISO 20000 standards
- IT Service Capability Maturity Model (IT-CMM)

Education
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Additional six (6) years of relevant cybersecurity experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
