Stair Installer / Finish Carpenter | Las Vegas, NV

Nexeo Staffing is hiring an experienced Stair Installer / Finish Carpenter for a leading custom architectural manufacturing company specializing in premium stair systems, railings, and high-end interior woodwork.

This is not a production framing role. This position is ideal for a skilled carpenter who enjoys precision craftsmanship, custom fabrication, and complex installations. You'll work on distinctive residential and commercial projects where accuracy, problem-solving, and attention to detail directly impact the final product.

If you have experience with finish carpentry, custom woodworking, architectural millwork, stair systems, railings, cabinetry, or specialty installations, this is an opportunity to apply your skills on projects that demand a higher level of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install custom-built stair systems, railings, handrails, treads, risers, and related architectural components
• Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and blueprints to execute installations with precision
• Measure, layout, and verify dimensions to ensure proper fit and alignment
• Work with both wood and metal materials used in custom stair and railing systems
• Cut, shape, fit, and assemble components using professional carpentry tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot field conditions and adapt installations to varying jobsite environments
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule
• Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship while meeting project deadlines
• Follow OSHA and company safety practices at all times

Qualifications

• Experience installing custom millwork, stairs, railings, cabinetry, architectural woodwork, or finish carpentry projects
• Strong blueprint and shop drawing reading skills
• Ability to perform accurate layouts and measurements with minimal supervision
• Skilled with saws, routers, drills, measuring equipment, and other carpentry tools
• Excellent understanding of installation methods, material selection, and finish carpentry techniques
• Ability to identify and resolve installation challenges in the field
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs regularly

• Comfortable working in shop environments, job sites, and at heights

• Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and perform physically demanding work

Work Environment

• Combination of shop fabrication and field installation work

• Exposure to dust, noise, and construction environments

• Work may include outdoor job sites depending on project location

• Use of PPE such as gloves, eye protection, and safety equipment required

Pay

$32.00 Per Hour

Day Shift

Monday – Friday

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
