Join Our Team as an IT Help Desk Technician!
Are you passionate about providing exceptional technical support and eager to be a vital part of a government contracting team? We are seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Technician to join our dynamic team in Torrance. This temporary position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role, with a competitive pay range of $28 to $35 per hour.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for resolving help desk tickets, ensuring seamless technology operations. You'll work hands-on in a Microsoft 365 environment, utilizing Active Directory to assist users effectively. This position requires US citizenship, and candidates must pass a criminal background check and be cleared from the prohibited part list before starting.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in troubleshooting IT issues and support
- Proficiency with Active Directory in a Microsoft 365 environment
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work on-site in Torrance, with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supporting government or contractor environments
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems
- Basic knowledge of network configurations and security protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
- Previous help desk or IT support experience, ideally in a government contracting setting
Other Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to pass criminal background and prohibited part list checks
- Willingness to work on-site in Torrance during designated hours
- Temp with possibilities of Temp to Hire
