Job Description

The Armed Security Officer will protect corporate facilities and government sites through vigilant access control, patrol operations, monitoring, and incident response. Reporting to the security supervisor and site manager, this role performs foot patrols and fixed-post monitoring while coordinating emergency responses with internal teams, law enforcement, fire services, medical services, and multiple agencies as needed.

Responsibilities

Control access and screen visitors at corporate and government facilities.
Conduct foot patrols and maintain fixed-post security coverage.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
Monitor alarms and CCTV systems for suspicious activity or hazards.
Prepare accurate and timely incident reports.
Coordinate emergency response with internal personnel, law enforcement, fire services, medical services, and multi-agency partners.

Required Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in armed security operations.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
State armed security guard license or guard card.
Current firearms permit or armed guard certification.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and emergency response.
Knowledge of de-escalation, firearms safety, and effective verbal communication.
Strong attention to detail.
