Pay Rate $21-$24/hr plus commissionsConstruction background will be helpful in this position
Key Responsibilities

• Project Analysis: Review blueprints, site plans, and specifications to determine project scope.
• Cost Estimation: Compute accurate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts.
• Bid Management: Solicit, analyze, and manage bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Documentation: Prepare and submit detailed, timely proposals and cost reports to stakeholders.
• Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and contractors.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential financial risks and suggest cost-saving solutions.
• Site Visits: Perform site visits to verify conditions and improve accuracy.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-3+ years of experience in project estimation or construction.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized estimation software (e.g., Sage, Bluebeam).
• Skills: Strong mathematical ability, analytical skills, and extreme attention to detail.
