About the Role:
Classy Screens NYC LLC is looking for a skilled and motivated Screen Technician / Screen Room Lead to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of the screen room operations and help deliver top-quality results every day. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all screen room operations, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Prepare, coat, expose, and reclaim screens for production
• Maintain and troubleshoot screen printing equipment and emulsion systems
• Ensure proper screen tension, mesh counts, and emulsion thickness standards are met
• Organize and maintain screen room inventory, supplies, and cleanliness
• Coordinate with production team to meet job deadlines and workflow demands
• Train and mentor junior technicians on screen room best practices

Requirements:

• Prior experience in screen printing, screen making, or a related production environment
• Knowledge of emulsion types, exposure units, and screen reclaiming processes
• Ability to read and interpret production orders and artwork specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Leadership experience or willingness to take on a supervisory role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
