Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and building systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
  • Monitor machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.
  • Work closely with Production and other departments to maximize efficiency, quality, and uptime while minimizing downtime.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new or specialized equipment, automation, and robotics.
  • Perform mold setup and provide production support as needed.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and electrical control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Work with live and low/high-voltage electrical systems in accordance with OSHA and NFPA 70 standards.
  • Inspect and verify that mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic safety systems are functioning properly.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues.
  • Proactively identify potential equipment problems and correct them whenever possible.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and equipment and communicate replacement needs to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Keep the maintenance shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist other departments and perform additional maintenance duties as required.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous maintenance and/or mechanical experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical prints and drawings
  • Understanding of basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles
  • PLC troubleshooting knowledge or experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach to identifying and preventing equipment issues
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
